What they don't acknowledge is that this "history" is in fact a highly-sanitized, misleadingly worded revisionist version which they present.
The more I look into other cults, the more I realize they're not the only ones to do this!
Funnily enough, it was the Watchtower's penchant for glossing over the uglier side to its history that first brought me onto this forum...

There is a tiny print button where the social network buttons are at the foot of the article.
If you download a PDF printer (I use "Bullzip") you can use that button to print the article to a PDF file. The formatting isn't mindblowing, but it works!

So many great sites that are not likely to scare off timid awakening witnesses, your site, jwfacts, and jwstruggle come to mind. I know they have helped me immensely. They don't just mudsling against and villify "apostates". The very first quote you used has this: "Noticeably, there have been a number of individuals who have created Web sites ostensibly to preach the good news. Many of these sites are sponsored by indiscreet brothers."
Were they saying back in '99 that preaching on the internet was indiscreet? Yet now the faithful and "discreet" slave does the very same thing?

Hi Cedars, I liked your three paragraph introduction which "Spiritually Weak" (still thinking) JWs might relate to your feelings and continue to read the rest. It is too bad that "Spiritually Strong" (non-thinking) JWs would never read past the first paragraph or possibly visit your website.
