Being a JW means you never have to question anything in the Watchtower, you never have to read anything beyond the Watchtower, you know what you're required to do on the weekends and a few other evenings a week, and you'll never have to tell a loved one you are sorry for not speaking to them if they question the Watchtower. When the Watchtower flip-flops on "the Truth," you never have to worry about receiving an apology--that would be so disagreeable for "Mother." Yeah, I see the advantages now....

Happy Man. The scriptures tells us "every mans hand is against his brother" right? well look around you my friend.Most of the folks on this site has experienced their BROTHERS? hand being against them WHY?
The reason why the put their hands against me( a 20yr+ JW) was because I didnt believe Jesus came invisably in 1914-Please show where scripture says (Off with her head) or chuck her out of the ARK.,
Some just because they want to "TALK" to the Creator on their own.Not through a few "OLD" men at Brooklyn.
You are here (on this site) because I truly do believe our Father loves you. Wants you to ask him from the Heart?Is the Organization of JW the truth? ask it in all honesty. Not with preconcieved Ideas..

You point to all the religious people involved in war, but fail to point out that there are many not involved--and who are not Jehovah's witnesses. Take, for example, the Amish, Mennonites, Quakers, conscientious objectors from Catholic and Protestant backgrounds, and pacifists who are not involved in any of those wars you mention. Why doesn't the Watchtower Society embrace them rather than reject them?
And don't pretend that Jws are all lovey-dovey and all get along. It's easy to do that at conventions, but you know in congregations there is a lot of backbiting and not everyone gets along. All is not what it seems. -

thanks for the post - i have been in school the last couple of days and didn't have time to get back to you.
As i mentioned, I think that there are many wonderful folks who are JW, but actually i was not directing my post toward the indiviual jw.
My post was directed toward the leadership of JW
in view of the fact that the avg jw be it an elder, ms or pub- they have very little to do with the formation of DogmaS
you see i used to be at bethel so i personally know the broS who have played a major role in you having to let your wife die for a need of a transplant -
only to be told 3 weeks after you have buried her that the bible didn't say what they told you it said about transplants
of course it's too late to tell you that now, your dear wife is dead
well as i mentioned to you earlier while i may not agree with your views on some issues, it is good to see that you and i agree that the WT and the Nov 1998 KM on using the internet has no scriptual basis.
you see that km insert clearly outlined along with other publications that you are not to engage in dialog with those DFed, but you are here and you have volunteered to be here.
The correct position for a jw to take is once you realized that this site contains DFed DA and those who are classified by the Org as apostates----------- YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO LEAVE THIS SITE,
get on your knees and ask for forgiveness and seek the cousel of th elders if need be--BUT as we can see --you have not, while i presonally encourage you to stay and be willing to examine what you and i have been taught,
i also know that your staying is considered a DIRECT VIOLAION OF THE WILL OF GOD AS PROCLAIMED thru his mouth pc the FDS.
my suggestion to you is the same one i make to everyone
since you are not suppose to be here and YOU ARE
you might as well make good use of the time here and the best way is to examine some of the Dogmas and see if they can stand the test.
as many of us have found out, when you start asking the hard questions so many of wt dogmas fall flat on thier face
leading us to completly understand why a jw like yourself are FORBIDDEN to question anything
BUT THEN again i can understant why the wt don't want you to quesioning anything- so much stuff can't cut the mustard
but like i mentioned -- WELCOME TO THE SITE
