When I was about 2 or 3 I saw what I thought was a goblin or something coming out from behind my chest of drawers in my bedroom as I was being carried past it. It seemed real enough at the time, and it really scared me.

When I was about 10, I became interested in the paranormal. I did seem to have some psychic ability, but because of my JWishness, I downplayed it and tried to ignore it.

Yet, I don't recall actually being terrified of them. I had the usual JW superstitions that the demons were watching everything I said and did, and that I had to be careful of not "inviting them into your home" via TV programmes or books on the occult, or even music with backmasking or by certain groups that looked like they worshipped the Devil.

Now, I do believe that Satan and the demons exist, but I don't believe that they are responsible for every kind of supernatural activity.

Sorry happy, I still think you're a troll. Some of your other earlier replies have had much better grammer and spelling than you showed here. No need for me to say anymore.

Like ghost stories and UFOs, stories of demons are the same - the result of misinterpretation of natural phenomena or phantoms of the mind.

We know so little about the workings of the human brain. I'm sure that people who say they have had experience of demons are suffering from some sort of psychosis (temporary or permanent). They aren't lying but what they see can have a rational explanation.

I've noticed in a lot of stories that there is often reports of strange electrical and/or magnetic disturbance in the area. There are natural hotspots like this, which would explain why certain areas are more 'haunted' than others.
My own theory of some ghostly goings on is that, under certain conditions, the surrounding environment can 'record' images/emotions (like we record images on magnetic tape)and then under similer conditions these 'recordings' are played back - viola! A ghost.

I would love to see a ghost, I just hope that my rational mind can overcome that primordial fear long enough for me to make an objective study of the phenomena.

    quote from apostate man....

When I was eight or nine (BTW, these are all true, to the best of my memory)my stepdad(x now) and his best friend were standing out side the house. It was getting dark. The friends name was Denny and was a religious man(not a JW, I said religious). My stepdad, I believe had many demons in him. Long story short, my mother screamed for me to get in the house, I looked back outside and there was a fireball looming above Dennys van. Never touched the van. This lasted for about 30 seconds.

A year later. We had a bad storm come in. Tornadoes, lightning, thunder, rain and wind. Middle of the day lightning struck the dining room window, did not break it, and a ball of whatever actually skid across the tile in the kitchen and melted it. There was a 4-7 foot melted path left behind. I was in the basement when this happened but did see the floor all scarred up.

in certain atmospherice conditions, the phenonema you descibe do occur naturally!!!

of course, i cannot say it was natural or supernatural..

but you could search the web to understand. i would suggest starting your search with ...... "St Elmo's Fire."

    you will find it interesting..!!
