Never cared for him....anyone remember Jeff Smith, the Frugal Gourmet? He was a Presbyterian (?) minister and a pedophile....it all came out eventually....but he was very entertaining and I learned a lot from his shows.
No one will ever top Julia though....."and nothing goes better with a hamburger than champagne" or the how to stuff a chicken one where she started out by saying something to the effect that first you spread his legs..........it was hilarious.
I really love Chopped these days - and Iron Chefs...................
