Regarding donations, this was something I put my foot down on with my wife. "As long as they are paying out court fees to attornies, and payoffs to those that sue them and win in court, rather than spending assets to prevent such a horrific crime from ever occuring, they will not get a dime from my family". That's just how I put it.

They, (The WT), did the research. Even with a loss of say 2.5% per transaction, publishers are no longer restricted by the balance in their wallet or their bank account, so they donate more.

A corporation, is a corporation, is a corporation.

Blondie: Now you have me really scratching my head wondering whether any of the churches I've attended were Lutheran!

    Definitely going to check!

On the thread's note, I recently attended a cookware party in someone's home. The host whipped out this little cube, stuck it on her cell phone and was able to swipe my American Express card!

This technology could EASILY be used in the halls!

anyone handling these machines for business knows that a fee can be charged to the customer which goes to the business itself. This small 15 cent (or so) fee is usually just accepted and on goes the transaction.

I am sure the WTS has somehow used this to its advantage
