Yestarday all our elders were invited to a one day meeting urgently .I know they had their elders meeting few months ago .Does anyone know what it was about .I heard from the grapevine that among other issues disgussed was a)how to deal with disfellowshipped ones and, b) how to offer councel to fellow elders .Any elder attended this meeting in Britain please feel free to share some info

I don't know anything about those meetings, but I do know that about a week ago there were some of those meetings in other countries. It sounded like they were about 9 hours long.

Remember,it's the Watchtower,they like to make much ado about nothing. Is it time for the Circuit Assemblies there? They have elders meetings before Circuit Assemblies.
This probably isn't related,but I know elders from the States visited England about setting up personal care homes for the elderly,probably former C.O.'s ,bethelites,I'm guessing.

I wonder if it's got to do with inactive ones. All of a sudden us and now another family from another hall who doesn't go have recieved phone calls asking if we're coming back. If they were to df then bring it on. We got four phone calls yesterday but would not pick up. Why now after not one phone call in NINE STINKIN MONTHS?????????????????????????????

Ray, was it all elders in your circuit, or just your local elders? If it was just the local elders it may just be to discuss the memorial arrangements. They tend to make a fuss when it comes to making sure everyone's at their stations and there are sufficient yellow tabards in the car park and lining the street.

No Cedars ,nothing to do with memorial arrangements .All elders had to cancel previous arrangements so it must have been something they found out the past week ,it was all elders from the circuit
