My advice is to see a holistic doctor.

I don't know your history, but I would definitely do a juice fast/colon cleanse for at least three days and then reintroduce fresh fruits, veggies, lean meats only. I bet you will see amazing changes. Stay away from all grains and dairy until you are feeling well.

StopTheTears If you been taking some antibiotics for another problem concerning an infection elsewhere, it can be

an indicator that your digestion system could have acquired on its own off balance from normalcy from taking that medication..

    Just thought I'd mention that.

I also suggest for you to get another opinion for anther Doctor.

Oh that sounds just awful StopTheTears....sending good thoughts your way. And hope you find out the cause soon.

I'm sorry you feel so awful and I hope you feel better soon. I don't have anything to add to the advice already given. I like the idea of a food diary, though, keeping track of what you eat, and how much and when, and recording the episodes of pain and diahrrea to see whether you can find some connection.

Has he checked you for Diverticulitis? Usually it requires a CT scan.... I had it a while back. Very painful, but antibiotics and some diet changes can help.

Many people are allergic to milk and related products. Meat is also very difficult to and not necessary in the amounts most people consume.

STT - I had Roux-en-Y surgery, but I still have my gallbladder. As GMA said, it's usually something you're eating, and you're getting dumping syndrome. It could be something you had tolerated well in the past. I know when I get dumping syndrome I spend an hour writhing and wishing I were dead.

The diarrhea is a concern, though. It could be a gluten intolerance. Make sure your doctor checks that out.

    Hugs and best wishes!

    is this a sudden thing?

If you are using any type of water filtration, your water could be contaminated.....

A while ago instead of keeping my Britta water container in the refregerator (like I do now), the water sat out longer then it should and started growing bacteria which I barly see in the container. Like a dummy I cleaned out the water, but re used the same filter (big mistake) and in turn got a nasty case of montezuma's revenge!!

If it's not your water or filtration, you can search Web. Google is an amazing resource with lots of information.

start jucing at least juice 1 meal a day.

You need to change your ph from acid to alkaline.

I have had stomach problems all my life and turning my body alkaline instead of acid

    makes the difference.

You will also probably loose weight.

I have a neigbor who had a gastric bypass it worked for about a year and then he went back to his old

eating habits and its like he never had one. He is as fat as ever.

If you are having gall blader problems, you are eating too much fat/ acid.

You need to juice or eat more vegetables and less animal protein.

God helps those who help themselves that is the answer to your prayer.

Change your diet eat 90% vegetables and fruit 10% animal protein.

    You will feel better.

Be careful of listening to those whosuggest juice and fruit diets. Fruits and juices are high in carbs and with the gastic bypass you are likely to get sicker. You must watch your carb in take. The dumping syndrome is bad for stomach issues even diahrreh can be a symptom of dumping. By the way I am 8 years out and I have not put the weight back on. I attended support meeting for the first year and many of us had stomach issues. Just be aware what you are eating and the amounts.
