I'm skeptical because I think defective proteins limit longevity but I think the above could greatly improve aging prospects.

I'm skeptical because...
I've been reading your topics for years and I beg to differ. You seem to believe whatever is going.
I researched resvertrol a few years ago and althought I know nothing about living to that span in life I do know that the company that discovered the link between the skin of the red grape where I believe the ingredient comes from was night put by a large drug company for over 750 million dollars.
There are some videos on YouTube like 60 minutes that talk about the original discovery.
I actually take it myself as the research, if its not tainted are promising.
Who knows but I do not poo poo things now until I do some research.

Well Red Wine is anti-oxidant , one glass, in moderation.
Eating more fish is good, laying off the Soda-Pop, which destroys calcium
in the bones, weakens teeth enamal and contibutes to obesity.
I never met a morbidly obese person who was not drinking about a litre of pop a day.
Less food, more carefully chosen food, fresh and not packaged food.
No smoking. No Mc Donalds, or candy, or processed, pre-packaged, no chips,
no french fries, that still leaves a whole ton of stuff you can eat, good solid breads,
soups and salads of all kinds, fresh fruit, avacados, oranges, lamb and fish and chicken.
Its the mass consumer-junk-food-fast-food , super sized, sugar laden, soda pop slurping,
pizza gulping, baconater, double-size-me, world that will shorten your life. Makes you wanna
have a cigarette just thinking about giving this stuff up ??
Sorry, slimboy but I have thought for some time now that researchers are ignoring solid evidence from evolution.
There are "ageless animals" - that seem to have overcome senescence. It's a severely underfunded area of research that could potentially offer huge breakthroughs. These creatures have very precise control of proteins because they have adapted to living without oxygen underwater for long periods of time (some tortoises and whales - and rockfish). They don't need a lot of antioxidants (like SOD) because the bad stuff isn't made in the first place.
This, along with some null results for various antioxidants, makes me skeptical. However, I can see potential benefits beyond absolute longevity.
I'm trying C60 in olive oil currently. No dramatic results so far.

Stuff about how some animals have adapted and gained longevity.

Just what the Earth's ecosystems need: rich people living twice as long.
It'd be fun being 140 and looking out the window at the wasteland that was once nature.
150? Is this amateur hour? No thanks. I have a better plan...
Metatron:
Here's a conspiracy theory for you.
There is a cheap generic drug called Metformin that is used by millions of diabetics around the world. It costs less than ten cents a day.
It works on practically the same metabolic pathways as Resveratrol (Sirt 1).
It has increased life span in mice. It has been demonstrated to reduce cancer up to 40% in patients taking the medication.
You have to ask your doctor to prescribe it. It is considered a life extension drug by some organizations. They reccommend that everyone should take at least a 500mg pill every day. Time released works best because it avoids some flatulence.
Here is the conspiracy part. Drug companies don't want to do experiments on Metformin's effectiveness because there is no money in it. Resveratrol is much more expensive and therefore attracts the most attention.
Don't fool around. Your doctor will resist prescribing it for you if you don't have diabetes. But if you demand he give you a prescription he will give it to you.
Do the research. Type resveratrol and metformin in your search engine.
PS. I like your life extension stuff because I am old. And lost untold years of my life from the religion drug.
Also I like the UFO stuff. If we ever meet up with aliens that can travel through dimensions we will find out that they are atheists.
I took anatomy and physiology in college, the big thing my atheist professor pointed out to me
is we die when we do because of preprogramed cell death.
Peoples cells are only going to replicate so many times and then there will be too many errors
and we malfunction.
I then pointed out a program needs a programer.
Which he could not respond to.
