UPDATE:
I noticed another very interesting thing about the article where she states:
"An acquaintance who said he was a Christian told me that my life would be incomplete without Jesus."
So it was NOT EVEN A JW that shared Christ with her, and this is what caused her to investigate and read the New Testament. Then only later by blind chance did the Dubbs come along and rope her into the religion.
