Another New Member (page 3)

Welcome, iriddle. I think you are the third newbie I've welcomed today. I have a good Baptist story. I was a teenager and my buddy invited me along to a service. Time came for the altar call and a holy hush came over the congregation. I thought "Boy the peer pressure is really something!" Then my girlfriend elbowed me in the ribs by way of encouragement. Didn't work!

Ooh! I have another story. I always wanted to attend a Baptist worship service in a black church. I did, on a tour of Harlem. The place rocked! My tourist buddies from Iceland were in shock, I think.

Things I like to do: work out, go on hikes, canoe, talk about eating healthy, read, drink coffee, watch cooking shows, normal stuff. People are busy...no one has time for friendship...new friendships, anyway...and it's hard to find people who want to work out...
