lol the hook into this thread! Thank God this wasn't another depressing thread. Q'doba has taco-tastic Tuesdays when their tacos are a little over a dollar each. I usually buy 6, three hard shell with ground meat, and three soft with chicken and vegetables. Of course cheese too. OMG how good it is. There's a couple authentic Mexican joints around here too(northeast, not too many Mexicans) one of which has the illest burritos. I've got family in Arizona and California that I've been meaning to see. If and when I do, have to make it a point to get some real Mexican food.

hah - you guys enjoy your tacos!!! me - italian stuff...really good pizza (hard to come by)....sauce............pasta.................formaggio................yeah!

Well, Italian food is good. But nothing beats really good Mexican food. If you go to San Diego, there are some really good little places. Avoid Old Town and their touristy Mexican restaurants.

It's late. I have a pot of salsa cooking on the stove. Damn, it smells good. Will make about 8 pints when I can it tomorrow. Tomatoes, onion, cilantro, jalapenos, Mexican oregano, vinegar, salt. Hands a little raw from peeling all those tomatoes and jalapenos. It's worth it.
