Julia in the 60's Many of our JW young men were sent to prison during Vietnam war. My husband would have been one but I was pregnant.

Of course, I forgot about 'Nam. We had conscription here in Australia too. My uncle was a non-JW conscientious objector when he got conscripted, but he was allowed to go into medical corp as an alternative.

I can't remember it either Hortensia. It does all fade away doesn't it? It's good for people to know that however much this religion dominates your life now it will fade away given time, honestly
