I think you put into words what a lot of us have been thinking Terry.

My Dad (RIP) was the PO of the cong. He said to me one day that some brothers 'teach' and others 'tell'. What I then started to spot was more 'telling' than 'teaching'! Watch out for that one JWs.

Remember, you lurking JWs, you're here because you are already on the road to leaving. That's why you are disobeying the GB and coming here.

Absolutely true, Terry. We were flogged so hard with twisted FDS doctrine that we often spend a lot of time flogging one another on the board with the broken bits of it later.

It is the truth that they take people in their relative innocence, spiritually speaking, and screw them over and hang them out to dry.

Knowledge is power- IF you act on it. We see a lot of people here who know the truth about the troof and are still pretending to be JWs- Why?

They lack the fortitude to strike out on their own and pilot their own ship- they also don't want to be ostracised by their JW family and friends.

As much as we want to help these JWs, their life is in their hands. Some people seem to have the destiny to be lifetime WT doormats.
