Terry, I hope some people heed your advice. It doesn't take a genius for them to see the WT religion is going to ruin their life- They just have to open their eyes and look out the starboard porthole-

Well said Terry and so true. I was a JW my entire life, [49 years] I was of that 1975 generation fiasco. When I was chemically poisoned at work [dry-cleaners] the state I lived in was a 'no-fault] workers compensation state, which means I only got a small settlement and now I have to depend on a mere $590 a month social security disability and my husband for support. Because of my chemical sensitivities I cannot go back to school, I cannot go out and work etc. I'm not bitter, just angry that I wanted to be a veternarian and my parents said 'No'. I would have had a career, I wouldn't have gotten poisoned. And now because I told my mother that I can't belong to a religious organization that doesn't give a shit about us she shuns my family and I. If this is the way they treated my little brother then I can understand why he killed himself! He had nobody. At least I have my husband, daughter & son in law.

But I do believe one good thing has come out of my health problem. I saw the friends and family for what the love truly was. The minute you cannot go to the Kingdom Hall and go out in service, you are NOTHING. I even had my own mother in law tell me I was going to die at armeggedon because I cannot serve Jehovah like I was supposed to.

Their love, even family members is CONDITIONAL

    GOVERNING body or DICTATING authority?

This lot of very proud and convinced men in power are fooling themselves and fooling each other while they are fooling 7 million followers.

Plain and simple. They claim to know what they have only been guessing incorrectly about.

This pretense has forced them to keep fine tuning and changing and worrying the wording of some rather peculiar teachings over the years.

It is their insistence on being CORRECT that is so galling and egotistical and proud. The statistics don't support their claims.

There is NO EVIDENCE to corroborate the idea they are being led by Almighty God toward a better understanding of End Times than anybody else.

Hasn't the Governing Body had a hundred years to prove or disprove whether they KNOW or are just GUESSING?

Well, of course they have. It was only a thesis and has NEVER BEEN PROVED to be correct!

I would dearly like to hear from any lurking Witness a simple statement in two sentences.

Why are you a Jehovah's Witness?

    1.

    2.

Another poignant question might be asked as to ..... are people who are devoted and supportive to the WTS.

witnessing for God and the Gospel as described in the Bible or are they witnessing for the WTS. Corporation Publishing House

through its self designated interpretive description ?

Many people avoid the WTS. entirely or if they are at one time apart of the organization eventually leave based from the latter .

Great letter. It's too bad most of the ones who could be helped by it will never see it. When I first left the organization, I knew it wasn't the truth, but I thought the organization was sincere, but misguided. I thought most JWs were happy in their faith. Now that I know the Watchtower is deliberately misleading people and many, if not most dubs, are as miserable as I was, it's frustrating to be unable to tell them. I know that is the nature of high control religions, but I still would love to get the word out somehow.

A personal message to you lurking Jehovah's Witnesses out there.

Do you ever feel that your being disingenuously exploited to be a submissive working slave, as a kind of curtailed

sales representative for the Watchtower Corporation and its literature distribution agenda ?
