    L.M.A.O ............... SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUNNY

ADCMS - brilliant. You explaind that really good.

NOTE: It automatically implies that the innocent mate is a MAN.

One has to wonder is this more rule bending so that JW men (the inlfluencial powerful ones, the Shites)

have the power to accuse their women now of anything and convict them real easy (like some mid-east religions)

then kick them to the kerb and replace them in the twonkling of an eye.

all done GUILT FREE mind you - so that everyone can walk away with a 'clean conscience' before God ''what we followed the rules didn't we '' - shrugs shoulders.

What a bunch of scumbags. they will introduce stoning next you watch. sooooooooooooo funny, morons.

Well, jeez. When I left my husband and the Borg I moved in with my BFF (ex-JW) and her partner. I was so afraid of my mentally unstable ex that I never told him where I was. I could have saved myself some trouble if I'd told him I was living with two lesbians. As it was, I had to pay for the divorce and let him know when I had committed "adultery."

Gosh...brings back to mind a case over 20 years ago. A sister worked in management for a Hotel. Her unhappily married JW Elder husband rammed through a "scriptural Divorce" by claiming his JW wife was seen by 2 witnesses staying overnight at a hotel...and she was seen in the lobby with a man"...a co-worker.

He got re-married to a young JW and remained an Elder. The JW wife never got DFed or reproved, and insisted it was her job, off course she was talking to a man..they were WORKING together and nothing ever happened to free her husband, however all the JWs gossiped terribly about her.

    Watchtower logic destroyed another family.

The problem with rules ........... broken.

So, if the two stay together in a house for several hours in the Daytime, that is fine ?

What a nonsense ! I know a guy that both aspects of this rule apply to, he was DF'd because his wife proved he stayed the night with a female. He told me later that they had not had sex that night, though they had on other occasions in the daytime when his wife thought he was working.

As he was happy to divorce his JW wife, it mattered not to him, but what a load of extra-Biblical bollocks that rule is !

"it may be that the Christian was involved in an immoral sleeping arrangement."

So they haven't realized yet that sex doesn't necessarily involve sleeping? There doesn't even have to be a bed, from what I've discovered.

"For example, were the two persons alone?"

Did they have a camera that monitored their respective private parts during the time that they were alone? If they weren't two alone, was there a threesome? If a dog or cat is there, are they really "alone"? How many other questions can be created?

"Were the individuals together all night?"

So, since my first time only took a few minutes, it doesn't count as "immoral", right?

"... the mate stayed all night in the same house with a person of the opposite sex (or a known homosexual) under improper circumstances."

Isn't there also a danger of unknown homosexuals? If there was anything I learned from George Couch's morning worship comments, it was that guys wrestling in their underwear or giving each other backrubs would automatically lead to full-frontal homosexing. So dubs should never spend any time alone with anyone, except perhaps their mate. Otherwise, everyone should have a chaperone at all times. And a chaperone-chaperone, to make sure nothing happens between the dub and their first chaperone. Then to make sure there is no accidental threesome, there really should be a chaperone^3.

I once shared a hotel room with my daughter and sister in law.

I guess thats hard proof that once disfellowshipped, one just becomes a wicked,

incestuous, sex feind, with no control over ones satanic driven fleshly desires.

So silly that paragraph from Blues could be rewritten into a million circumstances:

12/12. In some cases adultery is not proved, but it is

established by confession or by two or more witnesses

that the mate went into a broom closet for more than 5 minutes with a member of the opposite sex

    (or a known homosexual)

    under improper circumstances. The elders

should carefully consider the situation. Were the individuals

in the broom closet looking for supplies, or for some other reason?

    Were improper circumstances

involved? For example, were the two persons

alone? Is there evidence of a romantic relationship?

What were the supposed cleaning arrangements in the

building when the two went into the broom closet? Even if adultery

is not established, it may be that the Christian

was involved in an immoral broom closet arrangement,

one where a so-called "quickie" might take place.

Although the elders cannot tell the innocent mate

that he is free to marry because adultery was not

proved, in view of the circumstances, if the innocent

mate is convinced that adultery did occur, the elders

may allow him to take responsibility before Jehovah

for obtaining a Scriptural divorce; if he remarries, no

    judicial action will be taken."
