    FREDHALL:

    Satan,
Stick that fork up your ass!!!

Aren't you being a teensy bit oversensitive to SAINTSATAN's remark. After all, you're the one using the picture of Lucifer with a bad hair day.

MavMan, that is a gross misstatement of the facts. The reason I believe that the pictures truly depicts the life of a JW is that he is going around and around the blocks with his field service bag and his WT literature, looking for other suckers to recruit into the publishing company. He has got a hope for the future alright. It is the joy of seeing everyone who is not a JW die a horrible death at Armegeddon. Oh, joy!! Until that happy day he can be found going around and around the blocks in the cities of the world until his hoped for end comes.

Contrastly, those who are no longer JWs have life to look forward to. A life without fear of a vengeful god and without buying our future salvation by taking a turn on the WTs blocks.

I like pics like this - isn't it based on art by 'Escher'?

You prove my point exactly on how apostates will criticize everything about a Witness. The truth is that as JWs we do not rejoice in the destruction of the wicked. If we did, then we wouldn't make an effort to give him warnings and to share the means for salvation. We rejoice in the fact that we have Jehovah's backing and he will provide protection and salvation in unavoidable battle of Armageddon.

When authorities give warning of upcoming destruction such as volcano eruptions or hurricanes and people living in those areas do not take the necessary precautions or do not flee, do you rejoice at their deaths? of course not, you feel sorry for them but at the same time you reason, "they should have listened to the warnings". If you were one of those that listen and fled the danger area, then you would rejoice with your family that you made it out alive.

JWs will rejoice when they make it out alive also, not because many die, but because they didn't.

Whatever MavTroll - 90% of the JWs I know showed zero compasion for the 'goats' but instead loved to imagine driving that 'goats' car and living in that 'goats' house after the birds got done pecking out the 'goats' eyeballs. And we've all seen many of those 'upbuilding' after armagedon stories the sizko JWs like to make up - and how they concentrate on all the killing of the 'bad people'. No remorse there! In fact didn't mommy (WTBTS) tell you not to show remorse for those your sky-daddy Yahweh, er sorry 'Jehovah' (yea - that's the same name!) kills? Compasion is a quality that is in very short supply in the JWs.

I've never been a JW, I'm really interested in know how the JW's lay claim to having Jehovah's backing? How were they organized in the mid 1800's, before the Bible Students, and did GOD appear to Charles Russell to let him know that he was the one? Looking at JW history is so hazy on their claim to be the TRUTH. Give me some hard, sold facts...I really am interested.

When a Witness visits your door, ask them to bring you a copy of the Proclaimers book and you can read for yourself on the history of the Witnesses since the days of Russell.

Try reading Crisis of Concience which has a lot of info on the governing body. The governing body is the missing link to Jehovah's backing, allegedley.
