Here's an academic comparison of the "experts" and the Bible's timeline.
1. Archaeologist, Kathleen Kenyon dates the fall of Jericho by Joshua to between 1350-1325 BCE. When 1947 is used to date the Exodus to 1386 BCE, then Jericho must fall in 1346 BCE per the Bible. This agrees with Kenyon.
2. Israel Finkelstein says the end of the Philistine pottery period should be dated "well into the 10th century BCE" thus some time between 999-950 BCE. Right now he uses the wrong dating for David, who would have ended the Philistine pottery period, historically, from 1010-970 BCE, which is too early for this archaeological dating evidence. In my case, when 1386 dates the Exodus, 906 BCE dates the 4th of Solomon. So David's rule would occur from 950-910 BCE. That's in perfect alignment with the end of the Philistine Period well into the 10th century BC.
3. Israel Finkelstein dates the buildings at Mediggo that occur on levels 5b-4a to the "early 9th century BC" which would be from 900-867 BCE. Right now using the incorrect dating, Solomon's rule from 970-930 BCE occurs too early. But using 1386 BC to date the rule of Solomon, we get 910-870 BCE! So this is in total agreement with Finkelstein's archaeology!
So the evidence from the experts agrees quite well with the Bible's true timeline!
