@ Wha Happened: Yes sir! It is abuse! I wish I would have been awake at the time. I would have called Child Protective Services on them. Add another regret to my growing list.
@ LisaRose: It's like what Caleb's mom did to him regarding throwing Sparlock in the trash. The parent makes it look like the child is making their own decision, but really the parent is manipulating the kids to "do the right thing" This is what my "friends" did to their kids. They are fear mongers, and now I see the same thing is my husband's nephew. He's just as twisted at they are. I just hope now that he's close to a teen and starting o get rebellious that he will wake up. If he decides to leave and his parents shun, him at least my husband and I will be there for him. I really hope he wakes up and doesn't get suckered into the Borg.
@ADCMS: I really feel for your soul brother! We need to bring this sin before the elders and get it resolved because Jehovah loves you and he needs to discipline you to show you he loves you. I've always been warned about the Darkside and not to listen to their propaganda and manipulating people with the lure of cookies...There slogan haunts me nightly. "Come to the Darkside, we have cookies"
You do raise a valid point. If this god Jehovah is " so overly sensitive and immature that eating a cupcake sends him over the edge into homicidal rage"why do people (AKA JW) not wake up to the fact that is not the loving God from the bible. Oh right, It's a cult!
@ Roberta: I really feel for you not being able to give your mom that vase for Mom's day, but I started crying when your teacher kept the vase. I'm sure your teacher was horrified you just threw all your hard work in the trash, that was very loving on her part to save it all these years. Thank you for sharing that story :) Makes me feel like there is still hope in the human race even if the JW's are just mindless Borg with no feelings.
@ Cold Steel: It's was funny because when my mom called me yesterday about this topic (I guess I never told her) she told me she ate many B-day cupcakes in school, but she never told her parents.....that would be the best approach to do, just don't tell anyone. This little girl though was so sweet and innocent, she fully trusts and listens to her parents....I love the cartoons!

@Julia: And then we wonder why JW's have so many mental problems later in life. I was the same way. I'd have panic attacks all the time that would just come out of the blue. The attacks always centered around God killing me because I wasn't doing enough. I'm happy to say those attacks have stopped all together now. It makes me sick how the JW's are fear mongers!
