I know exactly how you feel Julia- the same thing happened to me after I woke up to TTATT a couple years ago. I started driving a few miles to a nearby city and went to a couple different churches just to see what it was like.

I met some incredible people, and had one minister (Church of Christ) offer to meet with me and give me some counsel. It was very helpful and he was more knowledgeable on the Bible than anyone I met when I was at Beth-hell. He wasn't looking to sell me anything or "sign me up" for his church. He told me I needed to let my light shine and that sooner or later I would be forced to choose Christ as my leader...he was so right.

Then I tried a couple non-denominational churches and liked both of them. They are fun, non-judgemental and refreshing. The music rocks and is 1,000 times better than King-dumb melodies. Please consider trying one of these out in a neighboring town. And don't sweat the small differences or little things they may have "wrong"...it's so unimportant in the grand scheme.

Hope this helps- keep us up on what's going on. PM me anytime.

    Take Care Sis,

    Eric

A youtube clip to help you get in to a great state of mind.

There's Christian doing and a state of mind that with practice you can take anywhere.

You might enjoy reviewing your bible using the inductive bible study method. With inductive study, you decide to apply something you learned. For instance, loving your neighbour might now include visting them, or dropping off cookies.

I get frustrated that my personal expression is thwarted at the Kingdom Hall. There, it is all about conformity. I combat that by taking along a blank notebook and recording whatever I want. This board is great for self-expression, too.

Hi Julia - I understand you. I feel the same.

Would you like to join in our discussion - Sign- Jesus- was it misread.

    regards lost

edited to add; ps - remeber. At one time all that Job could do was sit in the dirt and scratch his sores. He lost everything and everyone. We are so lucky we have the internet with masses of information. we are now free to research whatever we want with no constraints on our minds/thinking. x

Thanks so much, people! I really do appreciate just being here where I can say what I really think and feel.

The great thing is, knowing Armageddon's bit gonna spring suddenly, I know I have time to explore Jesus etc. As a Jw, everything has to be done NOW! Cuz Armageddon could come ANY MINUTE!
