There are still the last prophecies about the King of the North yet to be fulfilled. According to Daniel, the King of the North will be a very big player over a significant period of time. Also, the UN needs to get some teeth according to what WT has always said. People have to turn away from religion... including Islam, Hinduism, etc. There are many parts of the world that are increasingly secular, but atheism hasn't gone global. Finally, the UN and King of the North need to turn on all religion. That's not going to happen any time soon.

Billy's idea might go over the average JWs head, we are no longer seeing the strongest of the links in JW Theology. Billy, how many of the younger JWs are able to find Hosea, Nahum or tell you what the book of Obadiah is about?
They could tell you what flavor of the day "Starbucks or Pete's Coffee" shops are serving today but they have no idea "what times they are living in!".
