Dear Delusional Vast Apostate Army!!!by Batmatrixreality7
http://pastorrussell.blogspot.co.uk/2008/07/seeing-onself-as-victim-denied.htmlApostates generally take their course of action because they believe free thought is being suppressed, hence they feel a "crisis of conscience."

However, truth be told, their complaint is not really one of suppression, but one of inclusion. When THEIR views are rejected, they often lash out. When someone dares to question them at some point in time, accusations are hurled about. What it really comes down to is not free thought after all, but only THEIR thought. Only they can be right! They are just as exclusionary as the group they have left. They SAY they want their readers to "draw his or her own conclusions" but they do this in the same breath as accusing the other side of the argument of "deception." [Carl Olof Jonnson's Gentile Times Reconsidered] Hence, there is no room for another conclusion. The line has been drawn. The apostates has the reader thinking his is the only enlightened view, and the other conclusion we can draw is mired in deception and lies. As a result of seeing oneself as a victim denied, there can occur a powerful drive toward disaffection and apostasy. As is almost inevitably the case, there is a great need on the part of a leave-taker to validate their oppositional stance, and the victim-victimize scenario greatly assists a person in justifying their course of action. Blame shifting may therefore temporarily relieve a person of accountability, but it will only succeed in sanctioning a person's actions so long as their position is given greater exposure over that of their (former) religious fraternity. Thus, the importance placed upon maintaining a heightened level of awareness toward the apostate's unique view works to reinforce the reasons for their departure by maintaining the consequences of blame and continuing to? scrutinize it in the object of hostility. It is not difficult to see then why an apostate so adamantly rejects information that contradicts the typecast that they have worked so hard to establish. All who cut loose from the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society and its work, instead of prospering themselves or up-building others in the faith and in the graces of the spirit, seemingly do the reverse-attempt injury to the Cause they once served, and, with more or less noise, gradually sink into oblivion, harming only themselves and others possessed of a similarly contentious spirit. . . . If some think that they can get as good or better provender at other tables, or that they can produce as good or better themselves-let these take their course. . . . But while we are willing that others should go anywhere and everywhere to find food and light to their satisfaction, strange to say, those who become our opponents take a very different course. Instead of saying in the manly fashion of the world, 'I have found something which I prefer; goodbye!' these manifest anger, malice, hatred, strife, 'works of the flesh and of the devil' such as we have never known worldly people to exhibit. They seem inoculated with madness, Satanic hydrophobia [rabies]. Some of them smite us and then claim that we did the smiting. They are ready to say and write contemptible falsities and to stoop to do meanness." delusional

Many thanks for your comment .The way I see it is this : Jehovah has given me and you a mind to use ,he expects nothing less than a "worship based in reason" .If you don't like any of the ever changing doctrines of the GB ,you will be dragged in a judicial committee ,branded an apostate and then disfellowshiped .Then with the power of false love and suggestion they will turn your family against you as you are now an evil apostate .On the other hand Jesus tolerated different views and when many of his followers couldn't understand him he let them go ,didn't shun them ,didn't instruct thei families to avoid them .Stop worshiping and idol ,these men are anointed because they say so ,no proof what so ever .When Jehovah instructed Moses to go to the Israelites in his name ,Moses asked the obvious :" However, Moses in answering said: "But suppose they do not believe me and do not listen to my voice, because they are going to say, 'Jehovah did not appear to you.'" 2 Then Jehovah gave him signs to perform " They are no gods ,I didn't elect them ,Jesus never chose them and I'm against them .If that makes an apostate so be it .Last thing : An apostate will allow comments in his channel such as this one ,on the other hand you being indoctrinated and in fear that someone might burst your bubble have the comments turned off.Wake up brother ,Jehovah doesn't need mindless followers ONLY thinking humans .I hope you find the truth one day ,I really do .Christian love ,Raymond...

What more can be said? The following is what they believe.

Talk about blanket statements! Why not add, " Worldly people do not love each other like we do." or " Thank you Jehovah for giving us the truth, no one else has any hope." What rubbish. This person is not following their own FDS's suggestion. Their film is disabled as well. They aren't brave enough to leave it up?

This quote is great, " Instead of saying in the manly fashion of the world, 'I have found something which I prefer; goodbye!'.... LOL!! I would do that tomorrow if the WTBTS would leave me alone and not seek to destroy my family bonds.

I always love the strawman argument. Tell me what I believe and then attack those beliefs.

Astonishingly, the methodology described as being "apostate" is classic Watchtower tactics !!

Talk about the kettle calling the pot black.

When THEIR views are rejected, they often lash out. When someone dares to question them at some point in time, accusations are hurled about. What it really comes down to is not free thought after all, but only THEIR thought. Only they can be right!

Or, more likely, they never mention your beliefs at all....then proceed to attack them.

This is the process. A Watchtower apologist feels strongly enough about the need to defend his beliefs to go directly against the directive from his leaders not to engage with "apostates"

Eventually he runs out of concrete arguments and his cognitive dissonance becomes exposed.

He goes through shock, grieving and sometimes setbacks of denial but the outcome is always the same.

Eventually they leave or fade away from the JWs. They go on with other pursuits in life of a discovery process.

Some keep to themselves. Over time, sometimes many years, they feel compelled to reach out to awaken others.

They find themselves in the ironic position of dissecting the Watchtower many times just as adept or even more skilled than the way the defended the Watchtower.

Each one of these vocal apologists represent a valuable possibility that will in just a matter of time begin peeling the layers of Watchtower failing back one by one.

These words were written by Russell and can be found in the Watchtower Reprints from September and/or October 1909. The tale of irony is that Russell was countering opponents of his views -- views which are no longer taught by the Society, and which views, if now held by a Witness, would be grounds for disfellowshipping...
