    Sorry, computer got weird.

For those who love Jehovah, there is no stumbling block:

CO just re-hashes a recent WT article. Compared with the last talk it was really nicey-nice. Until a certain stumbling block is mentioned. That potential stumbling block was.... THE PERCEIVED MISHANDLING OF MATTERS WITHIN THE CONGREGATION OR ORGANIZATION. It was the usual stuff. Jesus is the head of the Org, he knows all. Then this excellent advice from the Bible.

" IF YOU THINK SOMETHING IS WRONG AND NEEDS TO BE CHANGED, THEN YOU DO IT! IF YOU CAN DO BETTER, THEN YOU DO IT! YOU TAKE RESPONSIBILITY BEFORE GOD! "

    WOW.

I thought, " Well, I could help with a few things if you would let me try." Poor CO, and Elders, they really take a lot on themselves and they are going to snap. The sad thing is that it is all totally unneccessary. You can't be a controlling person, and gripe about needing help, and then refuse to accept help. How many times has some said to us, " YOU THINK YOU CAN DO BETTER? GO AHEAD, I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IT!" That type of speech just tears down the other person, it's purpose is to put them in their place. Any thoughts?

what the CO probably meant was: start your own organisation and see what happens. but

dont mess with us, or you will be marked, curbed and ---.

Jesus is reported to have called Israel's judges-read elders " Gods" and they believe it.

Does the WTS say a jw can "perceive" correctly?

    *** w11 3/1 p. 12 Does the Bible Condemn Gambling? ***

Instead of issuing rules governing every activity or situation, the Bible urges us to “go on perceiving what the will of Jehovah is.” (Ephesians 5:17) The Greek word translated “perceiving,” according to Bible scholar E. W. Bullinger, denotes bringing together the features of a subject by means of “mental activity, knowledge acquired by reflection and consideration.” A Christian can thus perceive God’s will in this matter by bringing together and reflecting on Bible principles that relate to gambling. \

yet perceive inccorectly only a month later

    *** w11 3/15 p. 10 par. 13 Receive God’s Spirit, Not the World’s ***

God’s spirit can help us to “strip off the old personality with its practices” and to clothe ourselves with “the new personality.” That will help us to become more loving and kind. We will be inclined to forgive one another freely, even if there seems to be a legitimate cause for complaint. We will no longer react to perceived injustices with outbursts of “malicious bitterness and anger and wrath and screaming and abusive speech.” Instead, we will put forth effort to become “tenderly compassionate.”—Eph. 4:31, 32.

So something like this happens you talk to the CO and complain about SEVERAL mishandling of things, including the P.O/COBE spending cong. funds without approval and it's all dropped????? Yeah going thru the proper channels gets it all fixed.... [Heavy sarcasm]

    Data Dog.

My thoughts, coming from a Co it is all about putting people in there place, No one would DARE put themselves in a place that is in direct "responsibility to God". It's all about control, keeping the sheep in the pen. Control, control, control.

Affectionately: Brother of the Hawk ( I will surrender my mind no more, forever)
