Hey Scully, I remember watching Another World's first broadcast which was either in 68 or 1969, with Rachel (Robin Strasser) and can't remember the actress name who played her mother. I was in either the 5th or 6th grade.

I walked out of The Fountain, but only because it was so shockingly awful. What a steaming pile of crap. I have started to watch it since and nothing had changed.

Sex, drugs and swearing were all good for me. I remember offending a sister because Sexual Healing came on the radio in the car and I knew all the words...

LoL, I remember riding in a car with one of my jw cousins when that song came on and I was singing away. He looks at me and says " You know that song is about sex, right? ". I said yes and kept on singing.

    Great question!

I used to SNEAK into movies that were R rated, watched Skinemax at home and watched whatever I wanted----away from my city area.

My JW husband and I went to the drive-in to watch Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice. He left when something sexual (that he actually understood!) was said. A lot of sexual terms had already been used, but he didn't know those big words.

I very nearly walked out of Young Sherlock and The Temple of Doom, but I fought my conscience and stayed.

My mother told my sister and I that she had walked out on "The Sixth Sense" because she and Dad felt that the movie was demonic in nature. My sister said that she had seen the movie and enjoyed it, so much so she saw it twice. I said I was interested in seeing the movie also. Sis advised seeing it twice to catch all the stuff one wouldn't noticed the first time.

    I took my sister's advice.

My mother was not amused that we blew her off.
