Don't you have me confused with someone else? Or are you reading more into my posts that's simply not there? You have never seen anything written in any of my posts where I said anything about being depressed at any time. I was not depressed or unhappy when I was in the WT house and I am not now that I am out. I have never said that I was fooled by the WTS as many of you have and the main criticism that I have of them is that they do not understand prophesy and so cannot make a correct application. They do, however, have a 'foundation of knowledge;' yes, they do have the basic knowledge correct, which cannot be said for the mainline churches. And I am very grateful for learning this as I now have a solid foundation for building on as Paul spoke of at 1 Corinthians 3:12-15. And that's exactly what I am doing.
So, please get your facts straight!

If you would like I can look up the post that you wrote, may take awhile, but I will if you insist. I don't recall you saying you were depressed. But if I am remembering right, you did say you didn't believe in the doctrine of JWs and were searching for the answers. So in my opinion you were looking for "something" and mds was right there to feed you it.
You said a small group of you really looked into the bible and studied diligently, but the ONLY one who could answer the bible or the questions you had of the bible was mds.
You were looking for answers, you had strayed from your former beliefs....did you leave your family behind when you did this? I am not trying to put doubt in your mind. If you are happy and feel secure in your beliefs, then by all means, stay where you are!
I cannot tell you what to do with your life, but in my opinion, mds is a wacko! And you are following a wacko! There are over 600 people on this board and only 4 of you, maybe more than 4 but that is the last I counted.
Almost 600 of us were involved in the jw faith and almost all 600 turned our backs on it, and feel like real idiots at times for being sucked into it. Hindsight is 20/20. And being able to look into a situation and finding the problems is easier than being right in the middle of the problem with our blinders on cuz everything is peachy.
I am NOT condoning you for your beliefs, go right ahead. But I can have my beliefs too. I feel I gave mds a fair shot, I opened my heart and mind and REALLY looked into his belief. I don't buy it, I think he is a wacko. But by all means stay if you like, that is your choice. It is a freedom we have here in America, freedom of religion, and freedom of speach.
So that said I will speak my mind about my views anytime I like. And you may continue with your religion.
