I think most people lie. Some more than others.
We are taught, as children to trust the police, the authorities, our teachers, the clergy, our doctors, etc.
Do you easily trust and believe in people?
I don't, but I DO TRY to look at the good in people.
I do not trust any British politicians especially the ones in power now. They are proven liars but nothing happens and they carry on.
The Police are good for catching speeding motorists and confiscating uninsured cars. Real crime, not so much.
Real people, yes.

I believe most people are inherintly good. We all have faults to be sure, but trust is a hard issue. There are a few people I really really really trust, and I am one of them. I have a couple in my circle who are loyal to a fault. Politicians, Preachers, Used Car salesman, Lawyers - not in the least,,
I have been let down too many times by people I cared about to trust most people.

I used to be sooooooo naive .....
Police, teachers, priests, politicians etc .... people in general, hell no.
Life has taught me cruel lessons I will never forget.
But at least we have the rest of our lives eh....
