Mind, Body and Soul.
Spirituality, it's not just all about religion.
we are walking chemical factories, just have to keep everything in balance.
A lot of our emotion is based on stuff that has been indoctrinated into us by religious organisations, media, society etc....you should act/behave a certain way, you should feel this or that when you see / hear something....
Then of course there is the chemical balances in your brain.
The human brain is quite complex, we all have conflicting and competing, emotions, desires and motivations, no supernatural being is involved. We are sexual beings, and it is natural that you will be attracted to the opposite sex at times, even if you are in a committed relationship. We are hard wired to procreate. There are several areas of the brain that are involved when we see someone who is desirable to us. While we sometimes cannot control who we are attracted to, we can control (to a certain extent) what we do with that attraction. If it is just a passing feeling that you are able to dismiss from your mind, it's probably not a problem. If it is an infatuation, and you can't easily stop thinking about it, you need to figure out what is causing it.
It reminds me of an interview on the Ophrah Winfrey show of disgraced, well known preacher Ted Haggard. He was forced to resign when it came out that he was paying a male prostitute for sex and drugs. He said that he thought his homosexual urges were from Satan the devil, but after going through therapy, he understood that those desires were actually part of him. He still believed homosexuality was wrong, and he reconciled with his wife, and believed he had overcome it, with help from God. I seriously doubt it, but of course, that is his choice.
If you feel this attraction could be a problem, then you need to figure out what is causing it. It could be a lot of different things, it will take work on your part and probably a therapist to figure it out. If you value your relationship, then it is important that you do the hard work to get it resolved. It doesn't mean you are a bad person or weak, just human.
