The jehovah`s witnesses have been saying this for decades .Do you beleive it to be true ? / false ?

What do the facts show.?..how do you quantify it ?

I know this is a discussion format for ex-JW`s however knowing their are lurkers and people who might be sitting on the fence I thought this may be a way for all to have a say

What are the pros and cons of such a statement ? Has history ,proved this statement true or false ! ?

    what are your thoughts.

A Paradise is a beautiful, peaceful place. Life is easy.

The JW mileiu is far from that, the gossip, backbiting, spying, constantly having to watch what you say and to whom plus the drudgery of meetings and FS is far from Paradise.

Plus, what truly "spiritual" content is there in the muck they receive from the WT ? work harder, donate more, worship the GB is all they get.

Spiritual Paradise ? They live in a Spiritual Desert, that has not one Oasis.

In a spiritual paradise you would be free to explore your spirituality, not have it dictated to you where you have to adhere to one narrow practice on pain of excommunication! Can it be a paradise if you're constantly being pushed to do more? In a paradise, do you lose your friends because your definition and practice of spirituality is different to theirs? Are you free to worship in the way which works best for you?

A spiritual paradise teaching policies directly responsible for thousands of victims of paedophilia, responsible for the deaths of thousands of children and adults who didn't take a blood transfusions, hoards billions of property and cash but doesn't give a cent to charity, has caused thousands of families to break-up and parents to shun their children, children to shun their parents, etc, year after year makes untold false predictions and absurd twistings of things like what 'generation' means, and forbids its members from reading anything even slightly critical of the organisation.

Spiritual paradise? More like a white-washed grave or table full of filthy vomit (Isaiah 28).

WAKE UP JEHOVERS WITNESS, lift yourself up out of this illusionand heal your perception that you might know reality. And reality is you live in a spiritual paradise or your life will be made a living Hell, if you dont think that way so says the governing body.

"A Paradise is a beautiful, peaceful place. Life is easy".And that is not the reality of the Jehovah Witness organization

In a spiritual paradise you would be free to explore your spirituality, not have it dictated to you where you have to adhere to one narrow practice on pain of excommunication! Can it be a paradise if you're constantly being pushed to do more?

I always felt that the spiritual paradise was not synonymous with simply the global arrangement of people who call themselves Jehovah's Witnesses, but rather something sublime; people who actually ARE Jehovah's Witnesses, or they actually believe that they are anyhow.

Those people would actually have the positive qualities prescribed and a low tolerance for dishonesty within themselves. Whowouldn't want to have honest, kind people as friends?

Does Peyton Place sound like paradise?

JWism is just an updated 21st century version of Peyton Place.

wrong !!! paradise:-- pleasure, contentment, ideal place to be?

why then are people not clamoring to get in?

why do WT adherents "place" and study phony llterature with the public, that is different from the reality of the "inside" teachings of the organisation.?

It looks more like the "Workers Paradise" promised and maintained by th now defunct communist Russian, Hungarian, East German regimes, central committees read Governing Bodies.

    Workers? yes. Paradise? no.

If you HAVE to be told that you are in a paradise, but there is no pleasure, contentment, it is not an ideal place, then it is not.

The vast majority of Witnesses expect the NW paradise to be vastly different from the current KH atmosphere, condition.
