James ..... something about this .......>

    >

There was multitude cubicles, about 30 of them, like something out of movie. Each cubicle represented a state(s). It was the most unkept area of the whole facility because there were boxes of stuff related to congregation matters in each cubicle stack at least 5 high! It was crazy.

......that kinda makes my blood run cold..

My immpression of Patterson & all the other enclaves inhabited

by watchtower ..... is the "SHOW" of rightiousness & godliness,

that is highlighted out in front.......

    >

But .... behind the scenes .... are the "piles of dusty boxes".

Dusty boxes that relate to 7 million marginalized 'nobodies' !

Welcome to the forum James. Tomorrow when I have time I'm going go back and read all your post.

On the oral sex thing. Years ago an xjw I knew was telling me about a conversation he had with a woman who had left the witnesses. She had become a JW but her husband never did. In the early seventies when the WT said oral sex was wrong (I believe they said fornication) she refused to have it with him even though they both enjoyed it. This eventually lead to divorce. When he mentioned to here that the Watchtower had change their mind and now oral sex was a matter of conscience she broke down in tears because she was till in love with him and following the Watchtower had cost her her marriage.

i rmember we had a Circuit Servant, Bro,. Wiegel, in the early 70's that said since football was such a violent sport "we wouldn't want to watch something like that" . . . . yeah right.

Btw James, just wondering if you are comfortable enough to say which part of the country do you live in. East, West, Midwest, just wondering. totally understand if you don't want to reveal that yet.

I don't not want to reveal my location because the wife and I are pretty active in the congregation and some posters are getting pretty close to my to my idenity by mentioning names of individuals I know personally.

James - yikes, you may want to edit your last post just to be extra careful to protect your identity. Maybe delete the content and put a smile there instead? I'm the paranoid type though.

Can'tleave - Rugby...awesome. So much better than American football. Would it surprise anyone to say that Ben Cohen is my absolute favorite sportsperson ever in the history of the universe?
