They can change the meaning of the word "Generation" they can allow Blood Fractions, they can wrongly predict the end of the system in 1975, they can require you to shun your family members but if they were to ban watching Football, there'd be a mass exdous from the Organization...and "they" know that.

Shirley, my dear, YOU are the first person other then I who has mentioned good ol' pain-in-the-ass "Weasel Weigel"!!! It it SUCH a pleasure to find even one person with whom I shared a fleeting bit of reality!
Weasel was widely disliked, so it figures he has moved up the ranks in the JW pantheon. Do you recall the really nice CS who followed Weasel. He was Paul "somebody" - I can't think oh his name right now - I'll call the White House and ask what I was thinking... Haviland! Yes, I think he was Paul Haviland! A really NICE guy, obviously not Watchtower mgmt material...
