Funny, 'cause the vast majority of first-hand experiences we've read here at JWN (from ex-Bethelites, Elders, etc.) seems to overwhelmingly support the assertion that the GB themselves are full-on True-Believers.
Yet, if they're consciously aware that they themselves are willfully and deliberately utilizing propaganda techniques, that suggests that they are not, in fact, True Believers; after all, if one truly believed one's ideology, why would propaganda be necessary to defend it?
Do they compartmentalize their worldview, perhaps?
