Ablebodiedman, what's the point in them translating their message in all the languages of the earth if the message itself is pure tripe?

I have just come back home after a walk and a talk with my husband about the whole"truth" thing again,and I said to him "tell me,when was the last time you actualy heard anyone in the congregation use the name,Jesus or Jehovah? all we ever hear now is,the G.body this or the G.B. that", when did we stop worshiping a creator and start worshiping a buch of inflated egotistical old men?? New definition for an apostate?? Anyone who has one single independent thought and dares to actualy articulate it in public! So glad I have walked away.
Yet the Bible isn't available in the local English congregation. They are expecting some special release at the DC. They'll have to hide their disappointment behind their excitement about receiving a few cheap tracts.

I wanted to ask the CO afterwards when will we be getting a NWT in ENGLISH as this is rapidly becoming the only language in which it's not available. By ENGLISH I mean ENGLISH ENGLISH as opposed to US English with all its spelling mistakes. No wonder English JW's cannot spell.

What spelling mistakes?
Just as side note. The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures is not a bad translation of the bible (well, as good as one can get considering there are no original documents in the original languages), but it is widely viewed in the scholar community as being "colored" with the JW's religious beliefs. Over time since the 1960's they have made small changes here and there putting more emphasis on whatever dogma they want to promote.
The other lanuages the the NWT are translated to are FROM THE ENGLISH VERSION of the bible. They are not translating it from the acnient documents to whatever language.
What spelling mistakes?
Colour - Color
Fulfil - Fulfill
Neighbour - Neighbor etc etc
Just being a bit snide Slimboy, I have many other translation, NIV, NEV, KJV etc all manage to produce a version in English for the English (or British).

Calling the video a "secret" presentation is somewhat of an exaggeration. But I thought this thread would get more views if I added that word. JWs play a similar game when call "special" meetings and campaigns and stuff.
