He deserved to die for that?
Did GZ deserve for watching his neighbourhood and reporting a suspicious person to the police?
Did he deserve a beating?
Let's hope you are never attacked and have to defend yourself.

Wrong. Otherwise you must be agreeing juries always get it right. Sheriff Lawrence Rainey must have been totally innocent too.
OMG, EP were you looking over my shoulder??? I was about to post a pic of LR.
He deserved to die for that?
I guess, your answer is YES.
EP didn't say he broke any laws. He said everything he did was WRONG.
Everything he did WAS 100% wrong.
WRONG by whos standards EP's?
Wrong by the standard of "don't be a dumbass". His life is ruined now. Please, tell me exactly how his fictional rightness worked out for him. Please, do tell how his career, life and legal bills are going to help him. Bear in mind, being "not guilty" is not the same as "being right".
The Law is what dictates what was or wasn't WRONG here not EP.
Please, do tell me how the VRA and DOMA, despite being law, haven't just been declared wrong.
Oh, wait, silly me. Law doesn't necessarily = right, or even lawful. Remind me again, were you trying to make a point? It seemed like you were and then it just sort of evaporated for you.
Interesting that, despite your rhetoric against american gun owners, you are defending the gun carrier that created the situation and did not avoid the fight.
If people aren't allowed to use guns then why carry them?
If you are going to have guns for self defense then you shouldn't get pissy when people use them to defend themselves.
I think some US laws are plain dumb - are you saying you agree or just wanting to be disagreeable?
Wrong. Otherwise you must be agreeing juries always get it right. Sheriff Lawrence Rainey must have been totally innocent too.
Oh, and BTW, sometimes the law, like the ones in FL, aren't always right.
Thankfully they got it right here, and because of this people still have a right to defend themselves.
The law doesn't decide what is inherently right or wrong, simply what the law is and what constitutes upholding or violating the law. Some laws are sensible and there for good reason, some are outdated and no longer make sense. It doesn't matter - it is 'the current law'.
GZ was not deemed to have violated the law and so is not guilty.
If people have a problem with that then they should work to change the laws, not bleat on and on about a verdict they disagree with by making up evidence that doesn't exist or claiming bogus scenarios as reality.

Talking in circles doesn't really suit you so well.

Bingo.

And herein lies the crux for many. This is where this argument started over a year ago. You think if this loser is found to be guilty in any way, it somehow diminishes your precious right to carry a gun. At least some can seperate this travesty from the right to bear arms.
