I guess as in the trial, you see just what you want to see.
Maybe you need to get your lenses tested, they seem a little tinted ...
Good to see Zimmerman got off. He was defending himself.
Pitty more attention isn't paid to the 1000s of black deaths caused by other blacks.
I started a topic partly about that (poorly titled, I was angry at what I was seeing said on TV):
Benjamin Crump: Dishonest hypocritical opportunist race-baiter?
Includes a link to:
Beyond George Zimmerman: where's the outrage about black-on-black crime?
her low-life husband "Gray himself admitted in a deposition to abusing "all five of his babies' mamas except one," and to hitting Alexander
Simon asked: I did not come across those details in any of the articles I found - do you have a link?
Geez Bizzy, do you find something wrong with what Zimmermans brother is doing? Even if George found a job - he would still be villified for not having the 'right' one - there are a lot of people who have already cashed in on this tragedy.
We've seen the news interviews with the Martin family many times.
Trayvon Martins mother patented his name and some phrases in the 'justice for trayvon' signs, mugs, t shirts...oh yes, I know it's all for charity right?
His mother and father sued the HOA after they got insurance - waited it out and then filed a lawsuit - they settled at 1-2 million. Tracy Martin wasn't even divorced from his wife but he was living with his new fiance for a few years - his wife filed for divorce early this year but then pulled it back until after the lawsuit.
Dancing on Martins grave? Please.
The Martins danced all over George Zimmerman along with the NAACP, Sharpton, NBC, ABC, CNN, Morgan, Jackson, Crump, Obama - the list goes on and on. They were dancing before the person was even given a chance to defend themselves. And you think the Zimmermans shouldn't be happy and shouldn't have the same opportunity as all the race baiters are getting all over the news today? Why the hell should the Zimmerman family stay quiet and allow people to keep slandering and threatening an innocent family member.

Im sure these points listed in this article are not new to everyone, but I found this pretty interesting:
http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2013-07-15/george-zimmermans-acquittal-four-blunt-observations
1. Zimmerman was at fault for killing Trayvon Martin.
2. The “system” sometimes works in mysterious ways.
3. The next step should be a private wrongful death suit, not a federal civil rights prosecution.
4. Liberal gun-control advocates are already overplaying their hand.
I am not sure if any realizes it but most people I know were up in arms with the fact that a minor was killed with no eye-witness and the person who shot him was released a few minutes later.
-
Read up on some facts.
He wasn't released a few minutes later. He was taken into custody and held for hours during the preliminary investigation. That happens as part of procedure if they determine there is no threat or reason to keep the person at that point.
You do realize don't you that just prior to this media spun event - this NAACP propagandized party - that a black man was in the exact same position as Zimmerman was. He shot a white guy in self defense. Gues what? He didn't get held either. He was let go until the full investigation was done. It took from what I recall about two months and then a decision was made based on the investigation and evidence. So by perpetuating this myth that somehow in this case there was some privilege given to Zimmerman is ridiculous. Did you see any white hispanics rioting? Did you see any WAACP come riding to the rescue and demand justice? No. In this specific case with Zimmerman you can't know the outcome because the investigation was never allowed to take place.
Like I said - if this was about police and their treatement of those in the black community, then ask yourself why the NAACP and all those race baiters didn't go after them. No. Instead they ignored the investigation that was still in process and pulled evidence out, pushed law enforcement out of the way and had a sit down in the Mayors office with twenty people in order to create a case for their own civil rights agenda. You think doing that represents any sense of legality or fairness toward a man who they then charged with murder? I don't. It's prejudicial. It's tampering.

'How cool would it be to live in a world where George Zimmerman would have offered Treyvon Martin a ride home to get him out of the rain that night'
Michael Crabtree NFL San Francisco 49ers
Finkelstein,
There are a lot of mistakes in that essay including but not limited to misuse of the term, "Stalking"; the presumption that Martin had legal justification for striking Zimmerman (Which was never proven) and that the actual altercation was instigated by Zimmerman. (Which again was never proven. Both sides agree that the two lost contact with each other for an unspecified amount of time.)
Did you cut and paste it or did you compose it yourself?
