Between Gillard, Rudd and Abbott you could not think of a worse choice of prime ministers - wo is Australian politics at the moment...even politics in the UK looks better

So why did Gillard go? Labour wanted her gone because they were toast at the polls, or was it more or a power play by Rudd? Both? I'm just thinking if Gillard wasn't sustainable, Rudd was/is an ass, wasn't there anyone else in the party who could effectively re-brand them?
It was refreshing to have a female athiest with a live-in partner running such a large democracy.
