Not sure why that would be the case. Science is observing and drawing conclusions. The alleged actions and knowledge of God can be seen. We can observe and study the universe against the claims in the bible—the book written by His inspired authors.
And here’s what we can learn about God from reading the Bible and studying them against facts:
§ The Bible is wrong about the Earth’s shape.
§ The Bible is wrong about the atmosphere.
§ The Bible is wrong about the Earth being stationary.
§ The Bible is wrong about the solar system.
§ The Bible is wrong about rabbits chewing their cud.
§ The Bible is wrong about bats being birds.
§ Yadda, yadda, yadda.
Scientific conclusion: Either God did not inspire the Bible, or He doesn’t know the facts about things He created, or the Bible is not true.
It is arrogant, therefore, to dismiss faith in God as unscientific.
