Hi Londo. Some observations on A7a.
Again, clearly presented.
Explanation of some terms would be helpful: What does 'in front of' mean? 'In front of' relative to what?
Problem: The Swallow - Side 2 Line 19 ("Mercury and Venus entered the ‘band’ of the Swallow") refers to "around the 20th" of Month XII which corresponds to a.m., April 3, 567 BC and not March 26.
I downloaded the latest version of CdC. (For general info purposes) Clicking on the Sun and Moon makes the rise/set times appear in the toolbar at the bottom. Line 4 (14th) also yields 15 minutes sunrise-moonset like SVC. Sometimes these details can be picked out in Londo's videos if the picture is paused.
A7b.
Line 8. The Caeno site's (typewritten?) version of the translation has a mistake which you're unaware of. It should read:
"Month II the 1st (of which followed the 30th of the preceding month)"
PM me your email and I'll send you a copy of the ADT I original if you want.
Ayyaru 26 - the latest CdC version also yields 92 minutes/23 deg. for the moonrise-sunrise interval.
Simanu 1 - CdC has 92 minutes this time (23 deg.). The previous version I looked at calculated 19 deg./76 mins. Hm.
The new year began before the Spring Equinox (March 27, Julian) six times in Nebuchadnezzar's reign and more frequently before then, so it's not quite right to say the intercalary month was inserted to avoid starting the year before the Equinox. The earliest new year in Nabopolassar's reign was March 5/6 and in Neb's, March 10/11! Not sure if you're still giving the view held in the 'outrageous claim' or whether it's your own view.
Simanu 15's 'two gods' - yes, the newer CdC version gets 8.25 degs. as well.
Good stuff.
