I wake up this mornign to find this on my facebook page... instant deletion

If 1000 years is as one day...the following is true....

If 1000 years is as one day...the following is true....

Someone did the math, of the 1000 years = one day equation

If a thousand years are as one day in the eyes of Jehovah ,

and we look at history from Jehovah's point of view, we should realize that:

Adam was created six days ago and Jehovah immediately purposed to

restore what Adam had lost for his offspring. 39 hours and 45 minutes later He acted to prevent the demons and Satan from ruining the earth with their violence and to give a clean start to a few righteous people.

10 hours later, the same day, a covenant with Abraham was in place to

give a guarantee that Jehovah would provide a ransom and restore

human creation to its rightful state. The very next day, Israel left Egypt , the law covenant was put in

place and the temple was built.

One day, 1 hour and 48 minutes later the ransom was paid and mankind saved.

2 hours and 5 minutes ago Jehovah placed his son on the throne in His

kingdom to finalize the arrangements for the new system.

    Within minutes time will expire

for all those wanting to disrupt His purposes!

As the saying goes: "All in a day's work."

    And some still think

Jehovah is slow respecting His promises!

DON'T GIVE UP...WE ARE SO CLOSE!

It is a stupid saying. If God is infinite, then it is closer to say infinity is as 1 day, than to say 1000 years is as 1 day. Start with a faulty premise, and no wonder such garbage comes out the other end.

Little consolation to the billions that have suffered and died for the last two thousand years, whilst God had an extra couple of days off.

While most JWs are convinced Armageddon is coming "soon", or as was stated at last year's DC, "we're in the last days of the last days, the governing body really believes this", considering god's alleged view of time, is it unreasonable to conclude "soon" may mean another 7,000 years in the future? 100,000 years?

Makes no difference to god...after all, he's not the one suffering. He's got it made up there in his heavenly ivory tower while all of us suffer and die. No skin off his divine nose.

    The whole premise is absurd.

100 years is already gone from Jehovah's long day

so that mean we could have 900 years left to do like

the boys in Brooklyn and build a fancy resort in upstate New York

    .

39 hrs and 45 minutes later he allowed wicked spirit forces to kick around humans for shits and giggles. Then he is a hero for stopiing it?

I'll bet my next paycheck that whoever posted this drivel to your facebook is also heavy into watching "The Bachelorette."

    Brain dead, unthinking nonsense

If "one day is like thousand years" for Jehovah, the "generation" can be "70 to 80 years" again, which would then be 25,550 to 29,200 real years

Must be why the GB has construction on the site and its not due for completion till 2017. Because the end is around the corner in a few months. I guess Jehovah couldn't just miraculously give them fresh good storage buildings the day after Armageddon. No they are taking on major construction.
