Jesus says the same, after all he encourages people to be obedient to all government paying their taxes multiple times. The story of J & Mary travelling is another example of extreme obedience. Even with a pregnant wife Joseph will do anything to pay his taxes.

Jesus didn't sound too overly enthusiastic about paying taxes. It sounds more like he paid the tax begrudgingly.

24 After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma temple tax came to Peter and asked, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the temple tax?”

25 “Yes, he does,” he replied.

    mP:

How did you guess his emotion from those words ? > Yes he does, he replied <, just five words...

Why is tax payments mentioned so frequently in action(like above) and parables ? There can only be one conclusion jesus is setting an example he wants others to copy. Otherwise whats the point of including this and the others ? They can serve only one purpose and thats why they are repeated so often.

According to the myth, God gives authority but, that doesn't mean he approves of how it is used. Or something like that. It's drivel anyway.

That was Peter's response, not Jesus'.

I think Jesus should have been arrested for counterfeiting though, for his 'magic fish coin'. Lucky for him, it never actually happened.

MP: Of course that was Peters, i was just wondering how Bio managed to figure out jesus was reluctant from so few words none of which contain such an emotion or feeling.

How do you figure " But so that we may not cause offense" were Peter's words?

It's obvious Jesus paid the tax so as to "not cause offense". Not because it was the "right" thing to do, or because they were enthusiastic about it.

    mP:

    So why mention it ?

Jesus is stating that the jews should pay tax to the Romans and this is repeated multiple times, because tax is more important than condemning slavery, sexism ,racism and more. Rome must have their tax, why would Jesus care about the other stuff.

If you check your history you will find the Romans imposed a tax in the mid 60s for the temple, and this caused great offence. Eventually the high priest got killed and the war was on. Jesus was making this statement to keep the peace, and because he was a Roman stooge. By paying the tax Jesus was selling our his own jewish people and siding with the Romans and the quest for money via taxation.

The Great Revolt began in the year 66, originating in the Greek and Jewish religious tensions. The crisis escalated due to anti-taxation protests and attacks upon Roman citizens. [3] The Romans responded by plundering the Second Jewish Temple and executing up to 6,000 Jews in Jerusalem, prompting a full-scale rebellion.

Reports of collective tax refusal include Zealots resisting the Roman poll tax during the 1st century AD, culminating in the First Jewish–Roman War . [5] Other historic events that originated as tax revolts include the Magna Carta , the American Revolution and the French Revolution . [3]

Hitler was a rouge element that the Superior Authorities took care of. They used the "sword" they have been allowed to carry.

Hitler was not a rogue element, he was caught in a different time. Compare the actions of King David, Moses and Hitler and they are basically the same. If Hitler performed a centuries back he would be lost in the crowd. It wasnt that long ago that all rulers were just as bad, the problem is Hollywood loves to tell you how many jews hitler killed. Unfortunately many more Russians died but nobody ever hears about their pain. The simple fact is Russia won WW2 and it paid a very very heavy price.
