Before you guys get all judgemental and go off on these guys. Maybe you should consider what it's like to breath book binding glue and Ink Fumes 24/7/365 for about 50 years straight. Why don't you try that yourself and see if your mental facalties are all they're cracked up to be. Just because these guys breath that shit for 50 years straight doesn't automatically classify them as demented.
I have a funny feeling these douchebags don't and perhaps never did get their hands dirty in the printery. They have cushy offices, and tour the world signing bibles and shaking hands with public officials. For they are 'God's chosen men'. The factory floor is for the slaves.
Personality wise - I don't know if their one on one personallity would be different to their stage persona's. From their stage persona's and what we know of their actions etc I would say they are ultimately egomaniacs who have checked out their conciences a long long long time ago.

My friend who's an ex domestic violence victim and has become something of an expert on the signns and ways, watched a YouTube of Lett and was immediately struck by his use of gestures: pointing in particular, which is often a precursor to violence, among other gestures. She saw latent violence in him. Now he may not have hit anyone his whole life, but that domineering manner is in him. I never noticed til she pointed it out, then I YouTubed an old Hitler speech footage and saw the same gestures being used.
As for Morris, my friend couldn't even watch him because his manner brougt back horrible memories of violence for some reason.

“Seems like when a generational 'changing of the guard' takes place within the WTBTS, the new GB guys get rid of the 'old-lite' teachings from their former GB predecessors as if to make the JW religion their own and create their own legacy.”
It’s kind of like whatever the current ruling political party is (e.g., democrat or republican in the USA; liberal or conservative here in Canada), they just have to tailor-make their own policies and interpretations of law to suit themselves as their own unique contribution, or “signature,” into the history books for people to remember them by. (Kind of like carving their own initials onto the old Watchtower glory tree. That’s their way of ‘making the truth their own.’)

Kind of reminds you of the movie The 10 Commandments where Pharoah says, "Let the name of Moses be stricken from all the public records!"
Revisionism is a powerful thing!

The oldest of the lot was only 8 years old when Rutherford died. Therefore, no one who is a leader today knew either of the first two leaders of the WTS. These are all Knorr/Franz men. So Russell and Rutherford are distant, almost mythical Joseph Smith type characters for these men. I think that's why the first three presidencies were so different in tone. Each knew his predecessor and didn't agree with a few things that were done. Rutherford had to have known that Russell was a bit of an eccentric and that his dates were shit. Knorr and Franz knew that Rutherford had his own hand in false prophecies and was an arrogant drunk. And the current crop know all about 1975 and the Society's standard line that it was a few overzealous brothers who preached the end. These are men who grew up within the organisation idolising Franz and Knorr, while thinking wonderful things about the others. The organisation is their God and they know no other. They will protect this organisation no matter what. That's the striking part to me about their personalities.
