Millions now living will never die... *could* still be true...

Playing devil's advocate here... Researching online, I found that approximately 1% of the world's population is 90 years of age or older. This means that, come 2015, there will still be around 70 million people who fit the bill of "now living" in 1925 and still living. That number reduces to 10 million by 2020. By 2025, however, those who reach 100 will only number around 15,000, judging by U.S. numbers (which would be a fair statement because in just 10 years the percentage of centenarians will double worldwide, but I will account for third-world countries so... 15,000 sounds about right). Sources: http://www.gapminder.org/population/tool/ http://www.census.gov/prod/2011pubs/acs-17.pdf http://health.wolterskluwerlb.com/2011/12/u-s-older-population-larger-than-ever-according-to-the-2010-census/ This, however, does not negate the many other false predictions, such as the prediction that the "faithful ones of old" would resurrect in 1925. What are your thoughts on this? ILTTATT

    Maybe a timeline could help: 1925 - 2015 = 90 years. People who live to 90 = 1% = 70,000,000 1925 - 2020 = 95 years. People who live to 95 = 1/7% = 10,000,000 1925 - 2025 = 100 years. People who live to 100 = approx 1/600% = 15,000 So technically, playing devil's advocate, "millions now living (in 1925) will never die" could technically be true until sometime between 2020 and 2025.

You seem to misunderstand the meaning of the word "never".

hahahahaah "never" mind... Theoretically, suppose JW's were true, suppose that as soon as "big A" would come, and theoretically, all those 95+ people survive the "big A" and then live forever... Then in that scenario, JW's would have but a couple of years for them to claim that they were true on that. That was my point... Reality: All those people will die, eventually. JW's are not true. Just thought it was a curiosity to think that there still are millions of people who are 90+, but then 95+ it reduces significantly, and 100+ is very hard to reach. As of today, there are only 7 people born before Jan. 1, 1900. So to reach 113 years, 9 months, your chances are 1 in a billion.

Millions Now Living Will Never Die,..... Okay ..,wasn`t that in 1922 ? And the thought then/or later was that for people to understand that had to be at least 10 years old. So a person in 1922 had to be at least 10 years old , that means he would have had to be born in 1912

How many people do you know, especially jehovahs witnesses that were born in 1912 ?

How many witnesses do you know who are 100 years or older.?

I`ll guarantee their are not millions.

Another failed prophecy of jehovahs Witnesses

There may be millions still living, but current Watchtower doctrine is that they will all die at Armageddon. 1% of the 7 million JWs is only 70,000 that are potentially still alive and will never die.

why do you use 1925 as your starting point?

--- the world had ended in 1918 and millions THEN (1918) living will never die.

---Further, according to current WT light, only baptized and 10hrs per month publishers or their babies will live past Armageddon, so----

are there at least 2 million 95 year old witnesses now?---

will there be at least 2 million 100 year old JWs in 218?

---will there be 2 million GB followers 160 year old when the overlapping generation expires?

--- The world has not ended, baylon has not fallen, millions then sentient and living are dead, and

millions now dying MAY never live. Math 23:33.

Funny, at this summer's convention, one of the speakers said something like 'many of those living today will never die'. The wording wasn't exactly the same, but it struck me that JW's still believe that 'Millions now living will never die' and are still teaching the same thing.

Yesterday I asked my wife who would want to survive and live forever in 'Paradise' with 7 million half wits, in view of the WTS 'No Education' policy.

The only person I could think of would be Pol Pot.
