Passing time at assemblies

  Theres only one way for a dub kid to get out of sitting at a boreing assembly,way back when,..volunteer.For me it was food prep and consession stands.I rarely if ever had to sit through boreing talks.Eventually I was put in charge of my own consession stand,a big deal for a dub teen..LOL...OUTLAW

  In my early wt daze days, i used to like working in the kitchen. Later on, i got into the attendant business, then the 'security' elite. We had the little red ribbon or something on the attendant badge. The job was to roam the hallways w a walkie talkie. Once, when some evangelicals were putting leaflets under the wipers of the cars, we went out and took them all off. They gave up and left. A few times i was told to follow/surville guys who were supposedly pedos, thieves or apostates. Generally, they would leave after a while. No doubt i would be the one followed if i went to an assembly now.
