Here's a pretty thorough list of God appearing to people in dreams and visions in the bible. It is interesting to me that Mary is not listed one time in that list.

Did you forget about the last-minute salvation Jesus offered to the "thief" on the Cross next to him? The thief repented before death, and NO, that didn't change the fact the thief was convicted of a crime which he was being executed for.
And aren't you something, acting as if YOU are the one who judges others, and NOT Jesus?
From here, it's not so clear who the TRUE Christian is, since you're spreading apostate versions of Jesus' teachings, since you seemingly don't even understand your own claimed beliefs.

Perry's about as intellectually-dishonest as they come, ducking and dodging as he sees fit.
I didn't even bring up the incredibly ignant (sic) double-standard of claiming:

It seems Perry wants the right to declare as apostates those Christians who kill in the name of Jesus, but doesn't afford the same right to other peaceful and law-abiding muslims to disown THEIR terrorists as apostates?
Here's an idea: how about ALL people wake up and realize it's INSANITY to kill others on the basis of THEIR imaginary deities? Most Christians don't realize that Allah IS referring to Jehovah, the same imaginary being of their own Abrahamic faith, except the name Allah stems from Eloah (the singular form of Elohim, referring to God's role as the HEAD of the Divine Counsel in heaven, as spoken of in Book of Job).
So when a Christian says Allah is the Devil, they're actually blaspheming THEIR God, LOL!
It's almost as bad as Shiites killing Sunnis, who claim to believe in the same God....

Adam oh ye of little faith, just this morning as I was toasting my Tortilla why there appeared the face of Jesus, or was it Bob Marley, its always hard to tell, anyway Jesus appearing regularly on my morning toasted Tortilla is something I count on.

Interesting dicscussion. Although many of the modern terrorists are sourced from Islamic fundamentalism, it wasn't always that way as others have brought out.
The bit that I find ironic is that the religious fundamentalism and oppression in lands that are predominately Islamic look a lot like countries that were/are predominately Christian centuries ago. Many of these modern day Islamic lands are still in the dark ages from that standpoint. However, one can't help but wonder how would a world full of Christianity untempered by secularism would look any different than the Muslim lands where people are routinely executed for daring to think differentely? In other words isn't the end game of Christianity the exact same as Islam, in that all the "bad" people will be purged to purify the earth so everyone is a worshipper of god? Inferring that Christianity on its own is somehow superior to Islam doesn't make sense.
I'd bet that once some of these new converts really start to examine the deeper truths of Christianity they would come to the same inevitable conclusion that in the end it is no better than the same "we're better you", "god is on our side" doomsday mindset.

Islam is a works-based geo-political system. Jesus, who is the founder and object of Christianity wanted his disciples to exist along side the political system, acknowledging that service to others isn't dependent on their personal views. Paying Caesar's things to caesar and Gods things to God.
While it is true that the Holy Roman Empire was also a geo-political empire, all-throughout history bible believing Christians rejected this monstrosity.
