1999, well, that pushes it back a decent amount of time! Thanks 1009.

The fist time I saw the expression TTATT was in November 2011 on JWstruggle (RayPublisher's website) in one of his blogs on there. It was the first place I went on my 'awakening' and I came across it. Thought it was really good.

so--what about "da troof"---who started that?
i think no-one knows when TTATT started--a bit like that other mystery word--"jehovah"

Yes SBF: I too thought the OP was about, not so much the phrase, 'the truth about the truth' but the use of the abbreviation TTATT. I would say the emergence of TTATT is only within the past one year - unless, of course, some amazing detective can find an earlier date for use of TTATT.
Just to clear the air, my humility forces me to put on record that I did not come up with the abbreviation TTATT.
But I did come up with the memorable phrase, "The Watchtower has more to fear from apathy than from apostasy". Thank the true God there's not an abbreviation for that. [applaud here please]
