    Dear all,

Today I decided I will write a book. It will NOT be a book about my findings or revelations about TTATT and neither will it be a book about my personal experiences. I want to write a "fantasy"-book based on the Bible, the book of Enoch and the Book of Jasher and mingle it to one big stew.

The story will start with the Creation of everything (including the Logos) and will probably end after the distruction of the first world by the flood and the enchainment of the fallen angles.

I am planning to name it: The Creation and Destruction of the Saints and I will post (a part) of the first chapter here as soon as I can. I am writing the book in dutch (native language) and I hope that, if it ever get published, it will be translated in other languages as well.

Here goes the a part of the first chapter:

    Chapter 1: In the beginning

In the beginning of history there was nothing. There was no cosmos, no galaxy or no earth for that matter. Matter just did not excist in the beginning. And yet, there was still "something" outside the "nothingness". It was not just "something". "Something" is not just "something" but an almighty, alknowing, infinity living being. This being has always existed and will always exist because it is the biggest opposite of the "nothingness". He is Elohim.

Although Elohim always existed and always will exist, somewhere in history a new period started which we humans call "a beginning". For us, humans, it means the beginning of mankind as we know it but for Elohim the "beginning" was much more special.

    ...

Tell me what you think of these first couple of sentences please :) could use your input

Just don't accidentally start a cult/religion in the process ;)

It seems a bit heavy for the first two paragraphs - might be better to ease into things a bit before jumping straight into quite complex exposition. I understand that mystical style is the style you are aiming for but still..

I'd suggest looking at the introductions to some of Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels. Most of them begin with a sweeping description of a strange universe (discworld) in an extremely gripping and entertaining way.

I was discussing this with a friend of mine and I must say I already had downsized it a lot. It is just fricking hard to discribe a big source of energy without being abstract :D... it will get easier when I get further on with the human part but the divine part is hard for my imagination.

Quick reworking of what you wrote. Perhaps might give you some ideas.

In the beginning there was nothing.
    No cosmos.
    No galaxy.
    No earth.

Just a vast and unmeasurable amount of nothingness, in place of where those things will one day be. Amongst all of this nothingness, right in the centre of it all - there was something.

    Something large.
    Something powerful.
    Something omnipotent.

That something was so strange and unknowable, that humans who would one day come about, would never fully define what it was. The best name they could come up with in their limited vocabularies was 'Elohim'. Human civilsation would come and pass, but Elohim would exist forever.

Amongst all the nothingness, this something stirred. Elohim turned his attention to the oceans of nothing around him and began to create. A new beginning was about to happen..

Suggestion: DeWandelaar, get Zound to ghost-write your book.

    Just a thought.

Zound... It might be indeed a good idea of Valkyrie. I am no writer but more a thinker of a concept. Question is: do you like the idea? And should I continue with it? Or is it something the main stream would not like to read anyways?

No idea if there is a demand for it - but if you would enjoy telling the story, I say go for it! If you don;t get it published, you'll at least get good at writing in the process for novel number two.

Though it's not a priority at this stage, I'd re-think the title. "The Creation and Destruction of the Saints ". A bit vague - sounds more like a blurb than a title.

I translated your part in dutch again and I must say it looks a lot better indeed!

Any idea for a title? "Before The Beginning" perhaps?

I'd not worry about the title now. "Before the beggining" suits the first two paragraphs but I doubt they'll suit the entirety.
