So, yes, there will be a "new bible" released at this annual meeting. Worst kept secret ever.
However, the new bible will no longer be called the "New World Translation"
Again, this is pure speculation, but it would kind of make sense since the term "New World" is very Mason-y, old-time JW-y, and doesn't appear in the bible anyway.
What they would call it, I couldn't even guess.
"The Governing Body Presents the Approved Version of Holy Scripture"
"The Faithful and Discreet Slave's Bible For Dummies"
"The New Light Bible"
Anyway, has anyone heard if these things are going to be available at the congo's on release date?
They would probably have to start shipping them any day now if they wanted them available after the meeting. JWs would practically be stuffing the contribution boxes to the gills if they got their bible right then and there.

Seems as "new world" is too blatant these days. Back in 1984, hardly anyone heard of a "new world" that was outside the witlesses. Their version of the new world was supposed to be the paradise. However, when the first Bush opened his mouth about "a new world order", it became more public that the United Nations had an agenda to enslave the world. This is today known as Agenda 21. At which point, the witlesses became embarrassed and had to stop pusshing their "new world" in that term. However, it will be the same crap in a new package, again pushing enslavement under joke-hova. (The UN version has us enslaved under a small group of people at the top.)
No wonder so many feel the washtowel is today connected with the UN and its Agenda 21. Never mind its past--they are presently connected. They are presently connected to the Vatican--notice many of their structural similarities. They are presently in on the New World Order. Notice how similar the washtowel doctrine (and Christi-SCAM-ity in general) is with communism. While not as extreme as cults such as Twelve Tribes and Boston Movement, the jokehovians do share, and blatantly at that, many communist traits such as discouraging the individuals from standing out on their own.
Of course, their LIE-ble has to be changed to fit the times. The term "New World" is too connected with Agenda 21 and communism these days, and would turn off many from without as well as some from within. They also need to alter a few more scriptures to make their LIE-ble fit in with their current teachings. They will feature more scriptures altered to make Jesus and Paul look as if they went from door to door as the witlesses do this very day.

Two Questions:
1. If the NWT title is being dropped, how come news of the new Bible is known by everyone, but not its name?
2. If the new version of the Bible is allegedly only in English, how can the name change in only one language?
