Oh no! They can't possibly be replacing the most accurate and honest bible translation in the world!

When this supposed new bible comes out and is also rejected by any and all bible scholars as a legitimate translation like the current NWT, we will have even more ammo to fight with! So I say bring it on

What I'm wondering if these rumors are true is, who do they have that is even capable of producing a Bible translation these days?

Maybe they will reissue Byington's translation and use that as their standard Bible. But, nah, Byington was too accurate for them...

Since the new Imitate book, the new tracts and Happy Life brochure were not printed at Wallkill as should have been the case, could it be because both presses at Wallkill have been occupied printing the new Bible?

If so, that makes sense why our convention releases were not printed at the Wallkill printery this year.

Hopefully if there is a new Bible it will really be new, new/revised text, not just a new cover and extra appendix articles to bring in more money.

NeonMadman ... interesting you mention Byington, while it wasn't the basis for the New New World Translation, it is included in the Bible App they released.
