Random ridicule of those who disagree seems to be the best way to convince those in doubt. This subject seems to have reached a level of fervor that I. for one, find similar to an almost religeous dedication to the viewpoint embraced. Charts and graphs by sponsered (salaried) climate change professionals do not impress me. So what? Why are you so wound up about a handful of xjws who are skeptical?
PS I have not listened to Mr. Limbaugh for more than 30 minutes for at least a year.

I'm strongly inclined towards what Glander says about religious behavior and ridicule. And I never listen to Limbaugh.

As for religious zealotry, when you are denying what 95% of Professionals and just plain common sense tells you, what do you call it?

Cantleave and besty, I yes I read most of the article. I had to get out of the house to do a day of volunteer work at my granddaughter's school. I just got back and I plan on watching football. At some point I'll look up the IPCC report and see what they said. We've known for decades (or more) that the oceans moderate weather I'm just wondering to what extent the models take this into consideration, and how this fits in to the current predictive models.
Sorry, I'm too burned out to think about it tonight. I'll take a longer look tomorrow.

Why do I even bother? Hey, I listen to El Rushbo in 10-25 minute excrements when driving. Enough to know that when I come here to JWN I recognize the regurgitations. And when they are word for word, I know - and it isn't about who listens to the whole 3 hours - it's who internalizes and spews and believes. They are obvious. My moment of zen: No one ever lays claim to listening to Limbaugh. But when they frequently quote him word for word, you have to wonder.

I am not an apologist for Fox news, but they seem to induce some real emotion amongst the left, including the PObamatUs,who seems very frustrated with a free press. I should watch it more.

I guess I'm in good company if I sound like I am channeling Limbaugh. We do not receive his station where I live, but I come across him in the car. I think what he says is worthwhile.
He must be pushing some bodies buttons .
