So the new version is gender inclusive? Interesting.
Plus they are getting rid of the totally inaccurate "impaled"? What took them so long!

How exciting to be taken care of by the fierce and not-so-discreet slave at this critical time!
How blessed are we for the new improved bible!
Wait, what's that about the new edition being "sister-proof"??????

Wow. You guys seriously rock. Thank you. Me and the missus are up o speed and didn't have to waste fuel or brain cells to get there!
Curious as to what Acts 18:21 says in the new bible if you have time.
Sounds like they've really dumbed it down.
"reduced by 13% word account"
13% less paper then. I would have thought they'd aim for 50% less, like they did with the ragazines... then maybe they could nest the bibles, too.
So they are dumping the policy of translating every instance of "soul" (nephesh) the same? They used to claim that literal consistency proved the NWT was the best translation. Furuli wrote a book arguing the same. Now they do a 180 degree uTurn and admit that nephesh is propery translated using many different words.

"Kidney" now means "deepest emotions".
"In want of heart" is now "lacking good sense"
"Sons of isreal" now "Israelites"
"Fatherless boy" is now "fatherless child"
They've eliminated the long conclusion for Mark 16, the short conclusion as well. They've done away with John 7:53-8:11
They've also revised several other scriptures which are not listed.
Let me ask the really critical, important question, guys:
Does the new Bible still have "booty" in it? Zeph 3:8
metatron (love that booty)
