NEW NWT But in Hebrew it simply means "every male".
Phew. I'm glad they cleared that up. It always seemed a bit harsh to me. Actually most other translations just translate it as males as well. But glad that the NWT 2.0 is keeping up.
Wonder if they've got rid of those pesky {brackets }?
Did they say why they needed a new version? They had to have explained a few comparisons between the two.
I guess we're going to have to re-read both of them together to find out the differences.

Looking at the picture, I can only assume that when they said they designed these Bibles to be "sister proof" they were looking for covers that would coordinate with "modest attire", such as these manitee grey plus-size maxi dresses from Target:

Yah! Something to the effect that the english language has changed some in the last 50 to 60 years.
What they really meant was that the 1st WT writing committee back in the 50s screwed up in word choice and selection when putting the NWT together. So as not to discredit the 1950s writing committee, on a number of occasions 2 or 3 of the GB stressed that the earlier writers did as a good a job considering what they had to work with. Whatever that means!

Not sure where in the NWT where there are brackets, but it was brought out that you will see less brackets (the gb admitted that it was a bad practice in the NWT) in the NRWT!
And a "sister-proof" Bible should match her shoes:
