Sxxx Mxxx I cried when certain things were said or done at meeting. I think this is the most loving and giving meeting we all were able to be part of. Jehovah loves us and knew what we need at this time oh history. If ever we have slipped in memory. Yesterday brought it home. World wide. Jehovah loves and will always give us what we need to stay built up. What a day to remember!!!

Bxxx Bxxx I loved the humor from these humble brothers. It made them so much more real. We have had the privilege of having many of them at our DC. I laughed, I cried and think it was one of the most special days in all my life of serving Jehovah.

Bxxx Dxxx Yes yesterday was wonderful. I also appreciated the humor from these brothers. Shows you don't have to be so stern all the time. 1st Timothy 1:11 says that Jehovah is a happy God and Psalms 144:15 says that "Happy is the people whose God is Jehovah" and these brothers brought this home to us. Brother Lett still has those wonderful facial expressions, love to hear him speak.

MxxxSxxx - This day will forever be engraved in my mind and heart! The release of our new revised Bible! What a privilege to be present for! This was an answer to prayers to draw ever closer to Jehovah and to help others to do so too .. Especially as a parent! ... What a beautiful exciting day! #thankful #happyday

Very few JWs will be reading this Revised NWT in contrast to the previous NWT. Nothing will be there, that will bring any excitement, nor enlightenment to them. Some on JWN have found some changes but we know what to look for, we are 'on to' their tactics and manipulations of their scriptures.

I remember the drive home after many a convention, heading back to the doldrums and "hanging in there" spirit. Ugh. Don't miss it for one second!!

I always tried to work at the conventions. Worked all I could to avoid sitting. Then others would talk about what they liked most and I'd think in my head how glad I was to be going home. Conventions were stress, worry, money, forced pleasantries, and hot weather.

What a bunch of losers these guys on the GB really are, they are all out of focus. This special meeting was so boring, they could have added a talk on "Does Jehovah Require Sisters To Wear A Head Covering While studying with a Male outside in the open in the door to door work?" to liven up things.

But what can you expect from a bunch of old timers who feel getting a higher education is the equivalent to brain surgery with a bullet from a gun to cure OCD.

As if a faithful JW would actually PRAY for a new Bible translation, since the old one was soooo harrdd to understand, LOL! We all know that if any JW voiced ANY derogatory comments or any negative about the old version, they'd likely be taken in the back room and reprimanded by an elder.

Which only begs the question: if there's no significant changes or new truths revealed that they can see, then what is all their excitement over? Surely not over the drab gray plastic cover?

Same thing I gathered from my family that went........I couldn't make it...um...something came up! (football) Anyways, what I found interesting, i didn't hear ANYTHING aboutwhat was said. All I heard was, "they are so funny!", "it's good to see how real they are!", "What agreat joyful time!"

I mean, If i want jokes, I'll watch a roast on Comedy Central!!Just insane how people are just being stringed along...each time the R&F get restless.....NEW LIGHT or throw a bone at them with a Special Meeting.
